Ces versions ne sont plus supportées respectivement depuis le 31 décembre 2002 et le 30 juin 2005. Mais leur documentation est toujours disponible sur le site web d'IBM :

IBM a annoncé que le 30 juin 2008 sera la date officielle de fin du support :

IBM vient de modifier son site web au niveau des dates supposées d'arrêt de la commercialisation (1er trimestre 2007) et du support (mars 2008) de la version 7 de DB2 pour OS/390 et z/OS :

As of March 2006, DB2 V7 has been generally available for five years. DB2 V8 has been generally available for two years. If you are currently running V7, then it’s time to plan your migration to V8. I generally think of five years after general availability as the end of practical life for a DB2 release. Migration to Vnext will be only from DB2 for z/OS V8. There will not be any ability to skip a version. There are a few customers still running older versions, but the end of service is past. In general, you can expect versions to be in service for five years and end of service to be announced a year in advance. There is also an extended service period of three years for an additional charge.

Most customers are currently running V7 in 1Q 2006, but the migration is running faster now. Our estimate or projection for end of marketing is 2Q 2006. End of service of Version 7 is projected as September 2007, consistent with end of service for all of the operating systems that support processors other than zSeries or System z9.
